Volunteering

Mile 16 water station for Seattle Rock & Roll marathon

Looking for a fun way to get involved with the club? There are still some volunteer positions open. Whether you want to devote your superb organizational and leadership skills on an ongoing basis, or you're commitment-phobic and you only want to participate in one project at a time, there is a role for you!

Currently Eastside Runners is committed to providing about 30 volunteers for each of the following events:

1. The Labor Day Half (formerly Super Jock'n Jill Half)

2.  The Seattle Marathon Sunday November 25, 2012!

It takes nearly 1000 volunteers from the community to organize and run the Seattle Marathon Family of Events each year. Without volunteers, there would be no race! If you want to give something back to the running community, want to support a friend or family member, or simply want to be outside and see a great race and course in action, come help! All volunteers receive a long sleeve Seattle Marathon 2012 Volunteer T-Shirt and the gratitude of over 10,000 participants!

In addition to the fun and adventure of your volunteer day, your volunteer efforts bring money into the ESR treasury to support our community efforts, charity giving and club social calendar! Call me today for information!

Contact Patrick Dwyer at pmdwyer@earthlink.net if you are interested in one of these activities.
