Congrats to all of the speedy runners who ran Boston yesterday!
This is going to be the last scheduled long run for awhile for two reasons; 1) the last couple of months we've had a really low turn out at the long runs (one time there was only me and Kiera!) 2) After I run Tacoma, I'm going to take a break from marathon training and spend the rest of the spring/summer concentrating on running shorter distance races. If I decide to do a long run here and there, I'll send an email with the info. But there will be no scheduled long runs. I will resume a long run schedule in August for those training for fall marathons. I hope some of you will join me in Vegas on December 5th for the Rock & Roll marathon (running Elvises! Or is it Elvi?). Since the Seattle R&R race is closed, this is your chance to hear music all along the race course.

Sunday, May 2, 7:00 (or 7:30) – Tacoma, Eugene or Vancouver Marathons
Tacoma: http://www.tacomacitymarathon.com/
Eugene: http://www.eugenemarathon.com/

All three also have half marathons. Tacoma & Eugene have 5Ks, Vancouver 8K
There are a lot of great races of all distances coming up in the next few months and I'll send a list of races later in the week. I have been racing my long runs and that has really improved my endurance and hopefully my speed.
Happy Running.
