The ESR Fall Meeting will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday (please note this time was changed from 7:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.), October 20th at The Every Day Athlete in Kirkland. At our Spring Meeting, store co-owner, Ironman, Running and Tri Coach, Lance Carter spoke on running form and how changes in form can improve running performance. He has been conducting Intentional Running Clinics, analyzing running form and suggesting improvements based on that for almost the past year now..The majority of people he has worked with, have improved their mile time by on average, 30 seconds. His most dramatic result was a man who ran his last half marathon 1 minute and 40 seconds per mile faster than his previous PR. In addition to giving us an update on his latest observations, he will also provide us with new information on a dynamic warmup routine and a strength training regimen for hips and core.

Lance has been fitting running shoes for the last 21 years. He’s been a running and tri coach for the last 15 years and has been co-owner of Every Day Athlete for the last 11. To date, he has completed 9 Ironman competitions, with a PR of 10:18. He has also run 9 Marathons with, with a 3:09 P.R. He is currently training for Victoria Half Ironman (his favorite distance) on June 14, 2015.

Please wear comfortable clothes and running shoes as Lance will be selecting individuals to work with. Light refreshments and bottled water will be provided.
