From I-90, take exit- EXIT 17- Turn NORTH onto FRONT ST. N. This turns into E LAKE SAMMAMISH PKWY SE / Turn right into the FRED MEYER parking lot. We will gather next to Starbucks.

From Kirkland/Bellevue/Seattle North side, get on WA-520 E. Merge onto REDMOND WAY / WA-202 E toward FALL CITY / NORTH BEND. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto E LAKE SAMMAMISH PKWY NE. Continue beyond SE 56TH ST. and turn LEFT at Fred Meyer's. Park next to Starbucks.

Parking: Near to Starbucks. We will cross the street together after introductions.

Run starts at 8:30am

Suggested Courses: 

Option A: 5 mile loop starts and ends at Issaquah HS parking lot on 2nd Ave SE. Porta Potty is approximately 3mi at Tiger parking lot. We will walk to the same trail as Tiger loop uses and turn LEFT to begin the loop. Directions to Issaquah HS: 9 min drive. From Fred Meyer’s parking lot head S. (LEFT).on Lk. Sammamish Pky onto Front St. for 1.2 mile. Turn LEFT on E. Sunset Wy. In .2mi. turn RIGHT onto 2nd Ave SE for .5 mi. Turn into Issaquah HS parking lot. ( far end of lot before houses) Check out this map on MapMyRun: 5.0 mi Tiger Mt. HS and Bus trail loop.

Option B: Out and back run for total of 6 miles northbound along the East Lake Sammamish Trail. However you can run out and back any distance.

Option C: 9.75 mile course on paved trails along with dirt trails on the lower section of Tiger Mountain. See course map and description below:

ESR Tiger Mt 10mile run Directions: 

  • USATF NAME OF ROUTE “ESR Tiger Loop Thru Issaquah #3

  • Run begins at Fred Meyer parking lot near Starbucks.

  • Cross street unto Sammamish Trail. Begin running S. Towards Issaquah. 

  • Just before I-90 turn L onto the Issaquah Creek Trail. At approx. 2mi cross under Highland Dr. NE. Continue on ICT.  Stay parallel to I-90

  • At 4.2 mi turn R. At High Point Exit. Cross under I-90.  R turn at 79th.  Approx. 4.7mi you will reach the iron gate to Tiger Mt Park.  Just L of the gate get on the trail for .3 mi. 

  • The trail comes out at the upper pky lot at the powerline trail. Turn R  or west.

  • Note: Rest room is available at 5mi.

  • Continue heading W on powerline. Just past iron gate beyond the entrance road 

  • About 20 m.  Turn R onto Swamp Trail and continue 1.2 mi to end of trail. 

  • About 6.2 mi. turn L. heading S. This is the beginning of Adventure Trail.  Cross the powerline gravel trail. Go straight across and keep towards the R.

  • It’s about .75 mi. to the next posts turn R. This is about 7mi into the run. 

  • Follow this trail downhill for approximately .3mi.

  • When you get to the bottom of the trail take the first trail sharp L. Continue L around the Issaquah HS track About 7.5mi you reach 2nd Ave. Cross over 2nd unto the Bike Path

  • After approx. 1 mi on the bike path turn R onto NE Dogwood. Stay on Dogwood, as it loops toward Front Street,  Cross Front  St and turn  R  onto the Sammamish 

  • Trail at the Caboose on Gilman Blvd.  This is approx. 9 mi.

  • The Sammamish Trail takes you back to the start. Distance 9.75 mi.
