Any-distance directions
0.0 miles - Same as the loop start, head north along the right side 8th street sidewalk. When the sidewalk ends, take the crosswalk over to the trail still following 8th. Go past the “railroad station” to get onto the CKC.
0.35 miles - Turn onto the CKC to go out and back. It goes north (right) about 2.5 miles and south (left) about 4. South gives the best views along the trail. From about 1.25 to about 2 miles you can look over Kirkland to see Lake Washington and the Seattle skyscrapers.
N.N miles - When you return, the “railroad station” marks where you leave the trail to get back to the park.
