Eastside Runners is a club for every kind of runner. ESR consists of individuals and families that range from walkers to recreational runners interested in socializing to serious runners interested in improving their running performance. All ages are welcome, from babes in jogging strollers to senior citizens.  Whatever running pace is most comfortable for you, whether you are a beginner or veteran runner, Eastside Runners is the running club for you!

Yes, we are active in 2022.  Nonmembers are welcome to  email us to sign up free for any of our regular group runs.

    All routes take one loop counterclockwise around the peninsula and then go out and back along the Lake Washington Blvd trail.  Each route has an identifiable turnaround point.

    Head north along the waterfront toward the VMAC or head south to the Cedar River Trail.  These are out and back options.

    Our first of two Holiday Lights run of the year!

    For this run, we will explore the residential area of Duvall. There will be 2 route options: a ~4mi route and a 5.3mi route.

    This run will be a Joint Group Run - we will be running with our friends in the Lake Sammamish Running Club.

    We will meet at Judd Park (google maps link here) at 5:00pm on Sunday, December 18h.

    Our second of two Holiday Lights run of the year! 

    For this run, we will explore Newport Shores neighborhood in Bellevue on a 3-4mi route.

    We will meet near the entrance to the Newport Yacht Club (google maps link here). Please park on the street, NOT in the club parking lot!

    After the run, our Newport Shores guides Janet and Mike have graciously offered to provide spiced cider and hot chocolate. We will meet at 10624 Woodhaven Lane at 7:30pm. If you can, bring your favorite holiday treats to share

    The recommended route has two possible cutoff points, creating three courses of about 2.5, 5.4, and 7.8 miles; and for additional miles you can keep going on the Sammamish River Trail when you get back.   Surface:  There's about 1.25 miles at the beginning that are gravel trail.  The rest is asphalt or concrete.
